In order to achieve the objectives of the new syllabus, much emphasis has been placed on the acquisition of the following language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Similarly, interesting dialogues and reading passages are drawn from the pupil's immediate environment thus enhancing the learner's active participation in the learning/teaching process.
